In Sept. 2012, we discussed something about excavator long boom arm with a Customer who is one of the pioneer and specialist in underground excavation and civil construction in India, they have a lot of job that needs long reach excavator to do , This time they need a long boom arm to handle Loose Soil Mucking, and they requested us to make two super long reach booms for their Komatsu PC300 excavators to finish this job, so we design and made 2 unit of 24m long reach boom arm and 0.4M3 digging bucket for their machines.
The configuration is 13m boom, 11m arm and a 0.4M3 digging bucket, and 3 ton of counterweight, the related bucket cylinder, linkage, pins, hose are also provide from us, we just request customer’s original boom & arm cylinder.
Maximum forward reach of this 24m long reach booms is 24m from excavator base center to bucket teeth, and maximum depth reach is 17m under ground
